Senior Logistics Policy Analyst
I have over 29 years in military and commercial logistics, acquisition, cost management, and petroleum management. Presently, I’m a civilian staff member in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Supply Chain Integration (SCI), Logistics & Materiel Readiness (L&MR) Directorate, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OSD), Acquisition, Technology, & Logistics (AT&L). I am the Department of Defense (DoD) Policy Director for Food, Clothing & Textile, Energy/Petroleum Products, Construction & Barrier Material, and Medical Supplies & Equipment. I also oversee logistics activities involving chemical, environmental, & hazardous material management.
Before joining the OSD staff in July 2008, I worked over 5 years as a Defense Support Contractor with two companies, Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) and Dynamic Research Corp (DRC). Prior to this, I served over 20 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel working in the fields of Logistics and Acquisition.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med from South Carolina State University in 1983 and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Webster University in 1993.
