Jameelah Smith-Pressley
New York Alumni Chapter
Loyal Daughter, Jameelah Smith-Pressley, is a member of the class of 2005 and majored in Civil Engineering Technology. She is a Life Member of the National Alumni Association, currently the New York Chapter President and a member of the National Hospitality Committee. Jameelah is a Police Communications Technician for the New York Police Department (NYPD), committee, Community Service chairperson for New York Urban League Young Professionals; Vice president of public relations for Harlem Toastmasters and part of the HBCU community in New York City receiving awards for her efforts in 2024 from HBCU NIGHT. For Jameelah, a native New Yorker, SC State and its alumni association are more than institutions – they are family. Her unwavering love for her alma mater drives her dedication to preserving its legacy and fostering connections among fellow Bulldogs.
