SCSU ABA Inaugural Golf Tournament
We are excited to host our 1st ever Golf Tournament Fundraiser!

The inception of this tournament took place during the Friday of homecoming 2023 when a group of band buddies from the 70's and 80's era got together to fellowship with a round of golf. The event was called the "The Cookie Monster Golf Tournament" affectionally named after the host Tyrone Singleton (F'75) whose crab's name is Cookie Monster. During homecoming weekend the ABA and Singleton discussed putting together an event to raise money for the University Band Program and here we are!

Join us on the green, homecoming weekend, Friday, October 25, 2024.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to mainly raise money for band uniforms and instruments but also any other monetary needs of the University Band Program.

The tournament will be held at:

Santee Cooper Country Club
630 Santee Drive, Santee, SC 29142

The entry fee is $201 per player in advance.
**This fee includes Green Fees, Cart Fee and a meal.

The format is 2-person Captain’s Choice.

Awards and trophies will be distributed at the end of tournament play and we will also provide a very generous meal. You may sign-up for one of the levels of sponsorship soon.
